    All  India Democratic Women's Association (AIDWA) strongly denounces the vindictive granting of sanction by Delhi LG to prosecute author-activist Arundhati Roy and Prof Showkat Hussain. Digging out an FIR of 14 years is a vindictive and repressive step, clearly meant to silence voices of dissent. This is outrageous and is not acceptable. 

     

    Unequivocally opposing invocation of stringent UAPA charges on them, AIDWA stands in solidarity with them and all the activists who fight for people's undeniable rights.
